The Libertarian Party’s Shocking Mistake: Ignoring Trump Will Cost Them Grassroots Support!

Although I dislike using an adjective before the word “Conservative,” I wouldn’t be wrong to describe myself as a libertarian Conservative.

Because I am the product of Conservative philosophy that emerged in the late 1970s and executed in the 1980s by Thatcher in Britain and Ronald Reagan in the USA.

This Conservative philosophy relies heavily on libertarian tendencies. While not all libertarians are Conservatives, I believe all Conservatives are libertarians, in the way Thatcher and Reagan were. 

For example, I believe the state has become too big, and we must actively implement the idea of limited government. Government dependence should be minimized in all areas of life while maintaining a safety net for the newly unemployed and the most vulnerable in society.

I dislike bans and most mandatory policies, whether it’s net-zero policies that force me to buy an electric car or asking 18-year-olds in the UK to do mandatory military service.

When I heard the Libertarian Party turned its back on both Kennedy Jr. and Trump, I did not see these as equivalent decisions. The Libertarians are dead wrong. Vivek Ramaswamy is right, and I stand with him on this. If Libertarians want to win and make headway in the new Trump administration, they need to support Trump.

The Libertarian Party is an entity outside the Republican Party. Its existence proves that they have unique policies for a unique party. I accept that. However, this year was slightly different.

First, the Libertarian Party wanted to reach out to Libertarians who were not in their party. I think this is a good thing and does not mean the Libertarian Party is going to become a revisionist party. However, Trump has offered them seats in his administration. Wow. You might say he is a politician now and wants to secure the 3% Libertarian votes. You are probably correct. But in this critical moment, where the world is fighting the biggest cultural war against the Marxist Left and the elite is promoting never-ending wars like mentioned in Orwell’s 1984, this was one of the best offers the Libertarian Party could have received for two reasons.

First, a seat in the administration would position the Libertarian Party at the center of US politics. Second, allowing them to implement some of their policies and influence the administration when unforeseen circumstances arise. If I were a member of the Libertarian Party, I would have welcomed the opportunity to influence Trump’s administration with my way of thinking.

Remember, Trump likely approached you because of Vivek’s influence, not a libertarian hater like Bannon. So why make the mistake of turning your backs on Trump when everyone knows the reality of the two-party system in both the USA and the UK?

Seize the moment, and support Trump. You have now decided not to support Trump but your candidate. But the Libertarian Party members will vote for Trump. Eventually, all of us need to decide if this election is threatening our existence and values as a democratic and free society. With the correct answer, the only way is to vote for Trump.
