Welcome to Hal Unfiltered

Hello, my name is Hal, and welcome to Hal Unfiltered, a brand new Conservative channel where we talk about the truth and we will not mince our words to tell the truth. 

The world is in turmoil. We moved away from the traditional ways of politics as the left has become the voice of tyranny, and the right is still trying to find a common voice. 

The left has completely lost its sense and was taken over by Woke socialists who started promoting the equivalent of anti-human, racist and most of the time meaningless policies. 

The same class of people also took over the bureaucracies and technocrats and they started to run the countries rather than elected representatives. That tilted the balance to the left in Western societies, particularly in the English Speaking countries.  

First, I wanted to start a channel for a long time but always found excuses not to start and I probably needed motivation and it came from Jordan Peterson. 

I recommend everyone to listen to Jordan Peterson’s speech at the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC) conference held in London. It was something but also mega-motivational. While I understood the importance of individual responsibility, Peterson’s words conveyed another message: Get off your backside and Take action as individuals. 

Peterson emphasized how personal responsibility plays a pivotal role in fostering strong families, charitable work, and community engagement. I agree with him 100%.

I believe instead of relying on centralized decision-making for everything, we need to switch to community-driven decision-making which I believe will make us a happier and stronger society. 

But understand this, Without an individual commitment and self-belief, the essence of helping the community falters.

You will often hear some socialist notion like “community will mold you into a better person” etc. I doubt it very much. You are molded into a better person because of your family, religion, beliefs, responsibilities, and aspirations.

Second, For this channel, we will use the words used by an Australian journalist quoted in Wikipedia. When he or she was asked why an international gathering for the Arc conference I mentioned earlier, the journalist said “We need to replace a sense of division and drift within Conservatism, and Western society at large, with a renewed cohesion and purpose.”

I couldn’t have crafted a better mission statement and fit the purpose of what I wanted to do with this channel. Please get in touch with me because we would like to use this as a mission statement for this channel. 

Third, I am a Conservative, and I firmly believe that Conservatism is a guiding philosophy for human progress. It goes beyond just instincts or gut feelings, contrary to what some left-leaning Conservatives may suggest.

I hope the following belief will guide this channel also. Unity does not require uniformity of thought.

While we have always had variations within Conservatism and Republican establishments, the current ideological separation and the new culture against colleagues and friends is unprecedented.

We welcome differences (note that  I did not use that idiotic word diversity) and variations within the right. But we must address those anti-conservative stands and policies created by the Conservative Party in the UK and the Republican Party in the USA in the name of Conservatism. So we can strengthen our ideological stand as a new opposition to tyranny. 

When a Conservative government introduces a law to determine energy prices by the state in the UK, or Republicans sign millions of dollars worth of Pork spending in the USA, we need to say NO. 

This is why I have decided to embark on this journey, probably with consequences. I am not famous, I am not anyone special, just an ordinary person with ideas. If I can be of any help to one person and find a common path of real Conservatism, I would consider myself mission accomplished.
